सरकार द्वारा कोरोना महामारी से अनाश्रित हुए बच्चों के लिए मुख्यमंत्री बाल सेवा योजना शुरू की गई है। इस योजना के तहत विभिन्न आयु वर्ग के बच्चों के लिए स्कूली शिक्षा, उच्च शिक्षा के लिए सहायता, स्वास्थ्य बीमा, सावधि जमा आदि की सुविधा प्रदान की जाती है। यह जानकारी एसडीएम होशियार सिंह ने दी। उन्होंने बताया कि योजना के तहत 10 वर्ष से कम आयु के बच्चों के लिए स्कूली शिक्षा के लिए दाखिला की सुविधा प्रदान की गई है। शिक्षा का अधिकार के तहत फीस, वर्दी, पाठ्य पुस्तकों व नोटबुक की सुविधा उपलब्ध करवाई जा रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि सरकार द्वारा 18 वर्ष तक पढ़ाई के दौरान 12 हजार रुपये प्रति वर्ष अन्य खर्चो के लिए आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी तथा आठवीं से 12वीं या व्यावसायिक पाठ्यक्रम में किसी भी कक्षा में पढऩे वाले बच्चों को टैबलेट की सुविधा प्रदान की जाएगी। एसडीएम होशियार सिंह ने बताया कि सरकार द्वारा प्रदेश के 25 कस्तूरबा गांधी बालिका विद्यालयों में किशोरियों के लिए आवासीय शिक्षा मुफ्त उपलब्ध है। इसके अलावा मुख्यमंत्री विवाह शगुन योजना के तहत 51 हजार रुपये की राशि किशोरियों के बैंक खातों में डाली जाएगी, जो कि विवाह के समय उन्हें ब्याज सहित मिलेगी।
