भाजपा की वरिष्ठ नेता और पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री उमा भारती ने ट्विटर पर भाजपा नेता सुब्रमण्यम स्वामी की खूब प्रशंसा की है। उन्होंने कहा कि कलयुग की त्रासदी है कि कौए खीर खा रहे हैं और हंस मोती की जगह दाना चुग रहे हैं।उमा भारती ने ट्वीट किया, ”मैंने हमेशा डॉ. सुब्रमण्यम स्वामी को अपना हीरो एवं आदर्श माना। डॉ. स्वामी के जीवन के सहस्त्र चंद्र दर्शन (1000 पूर्णिमा) पूरे हुए जिसकी खुशी में मेरे गुरु जी के स्थान पर वसंत कुंज, दिल्ली में उत्सव मनाया गया।”उमा भारती ने आगे लिखा, ”डॉ. स्वामी भारत की राजनीति के सर्वाधिक बुद्धिमान, भारतीय अर्थ नीति की गहरी समझ एवं एक बहुत ही भव्य एलिगेंट हिंदू हैं। उनकी जीवन संगिनी पारसी हैं, पारसी सूर्य के उपासक होते हैं। डॉ. स्वामी सूर्य की तरह चमकदार एवं आभा से युक्त हैं। इसलिए रूखसाना जी ने सूर्य से विवाह किया, दोनों पति पत्नी का यह देवीय जोड़ा है, वह दोनों एक दूसरे से अभिन्न है। मैं दोनों से बहुत प्यार करती हूं, मैं भगवान से प्रार्थना करती हूं कि यह दोनों अनादि काल से अनंत काल तक साथ बने रहें एवं डॉ. स्वामी प्रसन्न,स्वस्थ, यशस्वी तथा दीर्घायु रहें। ”

उमा भारती ने एक और ट्वीट किया, ” यह तो कलयुग की त्रासदी है कि हंस मोती की जगह दाना चुगते हैं तथा कौए खीर खाते हैं, लेकिन मैंने डॉ. स्वामी को हमेशा प्रसन्न एवं गौरवान्वित पाया। यह शायद इसलिए है कि उन्होंने कभी अपनी विचारधारा से समझौता नहीं किया। मैं भी उनके जैसे बनने की कोशिश करती हूं। डॉ. स्वामी को ढेरों शुभकामनाएं।”वहीं इसके जवाब में डॉ सुब्रमण्यम स्वामी ने कहा कि उमा जी भाजपा की एक बहादुर नेता हैं। उनके द्वारा की गई तारीफ सोने के बराबर है। अयोध्या में राम मंदिर निर्माण को लेकर उनका योगदान बहुत बड़ा है।
